Welcome to the web site of InfoChem GmbH, the software company for chemoinformatics that specializes in storage and handling of chemical structure and reaction information.

Founded in 1989 and based in Munich (Germany), InfoChem has become a market leader in the production and marketing of new chemical information products. The main focus of the company is the development of software tools required in specific applications such as structure and reaction database management. Examples of such tools are the InfoChem Fast Search Engine (ICFSE), the InfoChem Chemistry Cartridge for Oracle (ICCARTRIDGE), reaction center identification and the widely used InfoChem reaction classification algorithm CLASSIFY.

After the successful introduction of our structure and reaction database SPRESIweb in October 2002, we have enjoyed strong interest. Positive feedback and interactive discussions with our customers enabled the development of new and progressively more customer-driven versions of the SPRESIweb database, now in version 2.5.
