InfoChem is pleased to announce a new release of its powerful computer aided synthesis design tool ICSYNTH. The implementation of a genuine reaction graph for visualization and easy browsing of the retrosynthetic analysis results and a new Projects session enabling user groups to work in team on the same target molecule are the main enhancements of Version 3.0. After many years of devoted and energetic service to InfoChem, our co-founder Peter Loew decided to (early) retire as Managing Director on 31st December 2016. Josef Eiblmaier, Sascha Hausberg and Hans Kraut are now responsible for the operational business at InfoChem. The official chief officers of the company are Derk Haank, Martin Mos and Dr. Ulrich Vest. We want to express our sincere gratitude to Peter for his pivotal role in the growth and success of the company. We wish him further success and long-term health and happiness in the future.

InfoChem is pleased to announce a new release of SPRESIweb. With version 2.15 users can search over 5.8 million molecules and 4.6 million reactions abstracted from 700,000 references including 170,000 patents covering the years 1974 - 2014. After becoming 100% part of Springer Nature in 2015, InfoChem has now moved into new premises in Munich, Aschauer Str. 30. The rooms are located on the second floor of the Munich Springer Nature offices.

InfoChem is pleased to announce the designation by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva for the project "Addition of chemical search capabilities to the WIPO PATENTSCOPE search system". Click here to read more.

InfoChem is pleased to announce the publication of: Route Design in the 21st Century: The ICSYNTH Software Tool as an Idea Generator for Synthesis Prediction. The article jointly written by AstraZeneca, ChemNotia and InfoChem authors has been published in the Organic Process Research & Development journal.

InfoChem is pleased to announce becoming an "Independent Software Vendors Partner" of Biovia (former Accelrys). In the context of this partnership InfoChem is developing Pipeline Pilot Components that enable integration of InfoChem software products in Pipeline Pilot workflows.

InfoChem is pleased to announce a new release of its powerful computer aided synthesis design tool ICSYNTH. The completely re-designed user interface (based on JavaScript) and major improvements in the algorithm responsible of the precursor search are the main enhancements of Version 2.0. The new HTML5 compatible version of InfoChems depiction tool ICEDIT has been fully integrated in SpringerMaterials, the Landolt-Börnstein database produced by Springer. The new editor is based on Javascript technology thus avoiding security issues with Java applets. Click here for more information about ICEDIT.

InfoChem is pleased to announce a new release of SPRESIweb. With version 2.12 InfoChem has given a major refresh to the well-known structure and reaction database and reprised the original concept of only including structures abstracted from the literature. The benefit is improved content, focused on chemistry from organic synthesis journals, whilst retaining the relevant catalog data and supplier links.
